Our Story

Beerwood is the longtime dream of husband and wife team Alex and Annie, who both worked at this location previously, and knew the potential existed for a much-needed gathering spot for the Baywood community. They were joined by Blake, who led us through the construction phase, and generally makes sure everything is running smoothly. Rounding out the group is Troy, who brews the beer and takes care of the financials, and Liana, who helps out with social media/merch/events.

We would not have gotten this far without so much love from the community, who not only helped us financially but also provided us with so many of the plants for the Beerwood garden. And we’re lucky to have so many local artists contribute to the vibe as well.

Lastly, a special thank you to Rachel with Dot & Cross Studio who designed our logo and provided the hand-painted signs.
