Our Story
Beerwood is the longtime dream of husband-and-wife team Alex and Annie, who both previously worked at this location and recognized its potential to become a much-needed gathering place for the Baywood community. They were joined by Blake, who led us through the construction phase, and generally makes sure everything is running smoothly. Rounding out the team is Liana, who does the financials as well as social media and events.
We would not have gotten this far without so much love from the community, who not only helped us financially but also provided us with so many of the plants for the Beerwood garden. And we’re lucky to have so many local artists contribute to the vibe as well.
Lastly, a special thank you to Rachel Hamann who designed our logo and provided the hand-painted signs.
